There are some venues that lend themselves to creating the wedding theme, and are so perfect for nuptials; that one has to bow to the location for inspiration.
Catherine and Kash chose The Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey as the backdrop to their wonderful wedding day. This place is just a magical and dreamy vision. Using their stunning surroundings and the time of year at which they married (Easter), the colours of gold and cream; with does and stags as imagery; Lindt bunnies as favours, it couldn’t have been more perfect!
Having seen our Doe & Stag theme at a wedding show, we really enjoyed tailoring the design to their requirements. Jo was able to personalise this theme and guide Catherine and Kash as to what they really wanted to say to their guests. We always love having the opportunity to talk through all possibilities and hone down exactly what each couple want for their stationary. Getting this part right really marks that the wedding is fully underway!

Both the invitations and the ‘on the day’ stationary carried the Woburn theme throughout. The invitations even had menu choices on them, and a belly band to keep everything together. They opted for a large welcome sign to greet their guests as they walked down the very historical parts of the gallery. A seating plan with types of deer for each table name (along with information on the deer); with place cards for the guests; really brought everything together.
After some thought an ‘order of the day’ was also produced to let the guests know what was happening, and when. This has been quite the winner for a lot of weddings; and Catherine and Kash were certainly pleased they opted for this too. Jo also advised that the menu choices for each guest were printed on the back of their place cards… Inspired and so useful of course.
Catherine and Kash met in 2013 at a mutual friend’s birthday party. The rest, as they say, is history. Kash surprised Catherine with a very romantic proposal in a herb garden on a trip away. They were even able to recreate this moment at the herb garden at Woburn Abbey; captured by their photographer.

Their advice to all brides and grooms would be to firstly enjoy your day! This couple found that being very prepared and organised meant they could enjoy their day even more, put in those personal finishing touches and have fun with their family and friends who all helped.
They pointed out that getting to know all your suppliers and having that great rapport with them makes the whole process lots of fun and much more enjoyable. We couldn’t agree more. We love getting to know our couples and working with them. It gives us so much pleasure and job satisfaction.
