As we continue to get used to the new year, we thought we’d take a look at what lies ahead colour-wise in the world of weddings.
Couples visiting our showroom continue to show a penchant for pale pink; a timeless classic that will likely never go out of fashion.
But as they say, variety is the spice if life and I’d we’ve learned anything since we started the business in 2009, it’s that everyone is different!
So, what lies ahead?
Well, in 2024, wedding colour palettes are embracing a diverse range of tones to create unique and memorable atmospheres. Here are some trending wedding colours for 2024:
1. Sage Green:
A firm colour for a few years now, sage green is set to continue its popularity this year. This soft and soothing green adds an organic and fresh touch to wedding décor.
Check out how this can work within your wedding stationery by taking a look at our Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Collection.
2. Terracotta:
This warm and earthy colour brings a rich and grounding element to wedding color schemes. It would work particularly well for Autumnal weddings.

3. Dusty Rose:
A timeless and romantic shade and popular for many years now, dusty rose continues to be a popular choice for weddings in 2024.

4. Saffron Yellow:
Bold and vibrant, saffron yellow adds a pop of energy and warmth to wedding aesthetics. It works particularly well for sunny locations, to convey the warmth of the sunshine, like these boxed invitations we created for a wedding in Sicily…
It is also a beautiful colour to use for spring weddings…
Or indeed, summer!
5. Mauve:
A muted, versatile shade with varying levels of depths that effortlessly combines sophistication with a touch of vintage charm.

6. Aqua Blue:
Calm and serene, aqua blue is making waves as a refreshing and modern choice for weddings, but we’ve seen it used (infrequently) for a number of years.
7. Coral:
A lively and energetic hue, coral injects a playful yet elegant vibe into wedding colour palettes. We’ve worked with varying shades of coral over the years, from a deep, almost orange hue, to a pale, almost peach-like colour.
‘Living Coral’ was the Pantone colour of the year for 2019 – there’s a fact for you pub quizzers out there!
8. Deep Burgundy:
A dramatic and luxurious color, deep burgundy brings a sense of opulence to weddings.

9. Lilac:
Soft and dreamy, lilac adds a touch of whimsy and enchantment to wedding themes.
We actually have a whole collection of wedding stationery dedicated to lilac! Check out our Lilac Collection here.
10. Mustard Yellow:
A warm and inviting color, mustard yellow complements a variety of styles, from bohemian to rustic. It works well with Autumnal vibes if you don’t want to go full on orange.

Colours can come into and go out of ‘fashion’ quickly, but ultimately, fashion should never be the clinching factor in your decisions.
These trending wedding colors offer couples a broad spectrum of options to express their unique style and create a memorable and visually stunning celebration.
Whether used individually or combined in creative ways, these hues set the tone for weddings that are both on-trend and timeless.
But remember, it’s your choice, and your decision, and we’re ready and waiting to create Your Perfect Invite no matter which colour you choose!
