Environmental Commitment

With two young children, we are acutely aware of the damages of climate change on their future and the future of everyone on this planet.

We also know that couples can be concerned about the impact that their wedding invitation will have on the environment.

Covid-19 stunned the world with its sudden appearance and has sent us all into panic mode, but global warming is a threat that we are constantly reminded about and one which, as a company who uses a lot of paper, plays on our mind a lot.

We want our business to be successful, but not at the expense of the greater good and we are proud to be a Certified Carbon Neutral Business.

We are signed up with Carbon Neutral Britain and have had our carbon footprint analysed. We now make a monthly payment to them to offset any carbon emissions created as a result of the business we do.

Although the analysis shows that our business emits approximately 5.16 tonnes of CO² per year, our regular contributions will actually plant 30 trees monthly which will offset 1.66 Tonnes PER MONTH (19.91 Tonnes a year) of CO² Emissions through sustainable and certified carbon offsetting projects around the world.

To go even further, we’ve taken the following measures within our business:

🌏 All of the card and paper we use is FSC registered which means it is made with materials from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources.

🌏 All of the offcuts of our card and paper is sent to be recycled; this amounts to 63% of all our waste.

🌏 From June 2021, the power supplied to our business is 100% Green Electricity which means that every unit of renewable energy purchased by our energy company comes with its own Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certificate.

🌏 All of the packaging we use for our stationery comes from sustainable sources and can be recycled – including the biodegradable ‘packing wotsits’.

🌏 We are switching from UPS to DPD as a courier because of their Carbon Neutral Commitment.

We will continue to look for ways to enhance our environmental impact and are committed to remain a carob neutral certified company for as long as we are in business.

Mark might even start walking to work with me whenever possible 🚶… although there’s only so much we can do 😂
